Issues with Comments
Some have reported issues with comments, like...not being able to leave them. I don't know, everything seems ok on this end. It could be an incompatibility problem, or a confict with your...um...medication. :)Try again!

Color Me Nutty
It wouldn't be the first time I've been colored nutty, but in this interview he reminded me of Brad Pitt. And one more thing...BOUDELAIRE!!!
This interview is from the year I was born.

How To Survive The Reagan Era...
(...without really trying?) Add one part Chomsky, one part punk, and blend together with one part stupid cheesy John Hughes Pretty In Pink movie (for us young ones) then dye your hair, paint your face, look at art, and dance your ass off to Bowie while Rambo blows every one's heads off. I'm still angry, does it show? Oh well...gets me to the church on time. That's Modern Love for ya. Bowie had been diamond dog, so androgynous, so all over the place, but NEVER had I seen him so manic and insane as he was busting out stomp tunes in a skinny-tie 80's suit and hair do. This is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's angry and awesome. Either you get it, or you don't.
Our Parents
Basically, these are our parents. We are not the generation raised by Ozzie and Harriet (I'm looking at you, Gerianne!)The Reagan Era was a total shock to me...I'm still not over it.
Don't Drown Your Food
Nobody that I ask remembers this. I'm glad I found it. I LIVED by this after I saw it. I'm still affected by this theory today.

Yazoo-LRG How We Roll - Skateboard Montage Team
People in my generation and [a bit before] act like we invented skateboarding. I remember when it got "too popular" in the 80's and one of my punk friends declared that R.E.M had sold out because one of their videos had a skateboarder in it.
The reason I'm posting this is because of the YAZ music, Alison Moyet. Great music.
By the way, that last trick is a big heelflip, aka a 360 heelflip with a 180 varial.
Yeah. I don't care either.

So Sometimes I Sing
The theme to Wonder Woman, and someone always says..."there weren't words to the theme!...Those weren't the words!"
Ah, vindicated by You Tube..."in your satin tights- fightin for your rights...and the old red white and blue"
People insisted I was insane. "Stop a war with love!"

More re-runs
Yes, we were the re-run generation. This show, Dick Van Dyke, was awesome because all the actors had stage and radio comedy backround, there was such energy and talent.
This clip is funny because it's a gender issue. Actually, I agree with Dick.
What Generation?
So, where do I get off saying that this is from my generation? Well, the thing is that 70's kids were the TV generation. We had very few channels and choices, so I Love Lucy re-runs are actually a mark of our generation. Many of us know all these episodes, and this skit especially is one of the best ever.
Boy George Before George Lucas?!?
Sorry about the audio on this. Notice the Amidala dress WAY before Amidala. But seriously, this is from Chinese opera I'm pretty sure both Georges ripped off from Chinese opera.
Anyway, this was my generations' rock. Loved it.
